In 2006 the site again underwent a re-design,
this time to include the 1606-2006 Duyfken Voyage, which
the federal Department for the Environment & Heritage
commissioned the 1606 Duyfken Replica Foundation to undertake.
Duyfken sailed around Australia starting in Fremantle going
south and east and north as far as Cairns and south again
to Tasmania as part of celebrating 400 years of relations
between Australia and the Netherlands and the Mapping of
Australia project.
Captains Gary Wilson and Toby Greenlees’ logs
were uploaded when available as were images. News releases,
journey
and visiting details were uploaded when required.
