In 2002 the Web site was again re-designed
to include the 2002 VOC Voyagie.
Duyfken, replica of a VOC ship sailed from Sydney to Jakarta,
then across the Indian Ocean to Sri Lanka, then Mauritius
and South Africa before sailing north through the Atlantic
Ocean to The Netherlands. The Netherlands was commemorating
the fact that the "Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie",
better known as VOC (United East India Company) was founded
400 years ago.
Captain Glenn Williams’ log was uploaded daily, including
a translation in Dutch. Images and VR’s were uploaded
as they became available (usually after port visits).
